When you want to travel to the Peruvian Amazon, the option we most recommend is Chachapoyas. This is the capital of the province with the same name and also of the Amazonas region, which is why it is considered one of the busiest tourist spots in all of northeastern Peru. The most notable architectural complexes in Chachapoyas are Kuelap and Gran Pajatén.
